Starting with templates

To make it even easier for you to get started, we have created some templates that you can clone, edit and use in your project. We explain how to do it in a simple way.

Remember that you will always need to deploy your own smart contracts. Those on the products are just examples.

First steps

First of all, visit the template catalog. You can choose between those available for your project (those templates are safe to use and easy to edit).

Once you are in the platform you should connect your wallet clicking in the button at the upper right.

When your wallet is connected successfully you will need to click on the button in the chosen template. This will opens you the quickstart form where you will need to fill only two fields

• Your DApp domain: swapland, cooldex... your name is the essence of your product! keep it short, underscores only and no special characters. The domain and hosting will be provided by us yourdappname.dexkit.app, but we won't have any intervention in your DApp, so keep that in mind.

• Your DApp email: We will use this email to authenticate you and know if you are a real person. We will send you a verification message.

You will be able too see the preview of your DApp in the right side of the screen. That's the template we're about to clone.

Once we completed the fields we will click on the button and the following prompt will appear in your screen 👇

Click on VIEW APP to be redirected to the administrative section.

Once you are correctly redirected you will be able to see all the customizable tabs and sections globally.

Configuring Settings

General

1. Logos (dark and light modes) PNG or SVG 150*150px (square image) is recommended. We will host your images for you.

2. Favicon URL. 20*20px PNG or SVG recommended. Click on the Kittygotchi purple icon and upload your image.

3. Languages: English (US) as default language, Portuguese, Spanish, German, Francais, Italian, Norwegian and Czech.

4. Currencies: US dollar, Euro, Brazil Real, Indian Rupee, Czech Koruna, Argentine Peso, Swiss Franc, Chilean Peso, Venezuelan Bolivar and Nigerian Naira.

Domain

We will host your DApp using a centralized and reliable service. Also we are including a custom URL for your DApp with *.dexkit.app suffix, so you won't need to buy any domain, nor any hosting to deploy it.

At the same time, we're keeping the custom domain section, so you can use one of your domain's CNAMES and call your DApp from there.

We have a nice tutorial here about adding a CNAME entry on CloudFlare.

When you are adding your CNAME following 'cname.vercel-dns.com' in your hosting provider you can add as well an A-type registry, with '@' as Name and '76.76.21.21' if you're facing issues with redirection.

If you are not using this optional feature you can keep the field in blank and move forward.

Team

You may want to read our comprehensive information about setting up team members and delegate permissions individually.

Version

Save your DApp whenever you want and restore the state if you don't like the changes made. This can also be used for seasonal branding where you want to decorate your DApp and would not like to have to delete all the changes you have made. Keep a copy for next year and don't worry about designing again.

Ownership

In this section you can mint this design as an NFT on the Polygon blockchain and sell it on any marketplace. If you are a DApp designer this can be an excellent business opportunity.

Social media

We will add more social media profiles as long we receive more petitions. After finishing this part, click on «SAVE» blue button and continue.

Layout section

Theme

Choose from the currently available color combinations or just pick your custom colors to fit your brand guidelines. Choose as well from our selection of Google fonts to make it look even great.

After filling this section with your colors, press on the blue «SAVE» button at the right-bottom corner of the page. Sign digitally and continue.

Pages

Perhaps this is the most important and interesting section of your DApp since here you can let your imagination run wild in order to arrange the available elements for your benefit.

Let's review the main elements that make up this section:

You will see in this image that the only component existing is the swap one. This is becase we cloned a single swap template.

Inside this section you can put default prebuilt sections (clicking on + ADD SECTION button) or adding a custom one clicking below in the «+ ADD CUSTOM SECTION» button. Read more about the default sections and how to use each component.

Create the pages you will need for your DApp. Take in consideration that the only page that will have the pre built components on it's the Home one. Every time you create one it will start from zero components.

🧙‍♂️ Master tip: are you planning to add a lot of data? create a full component page (without any information, only the empty component) and clone it the times you want. It will be easier for you to add all the collectibles information / contracts after you built the basic structure.

NavBar

Choose here what do you want to be shown on your DApps top menu. Click in the arrows at the end of each element to change positions. You can add also more menu elements on the «+ ADD MENU» button.

Footer menu

Configuring SEO

This section will allow your DApp to be indexed by the most popular search engines. Fill both camps and upload the share image that will be seen when you share your DApp's link using OpenGraph protocol. As always, we recommend to «SAVE» and proceed.

Analytics

Create a new Google Analytics tag for your DApp and paste it here. You will receive all the data of your DApp visitors leading you to know better your audience to positioning better your product

Fees section

DApp fees

This is an important section of your NFT marketplace

On this section you will be able to set a fee for each NFT traded in your DApp. We recommend here to not be greedy and use lower percentages (from 1% up to 3%) in order to make attractive your offers. After you finish here, click on «SAVE» and proceed to the other fee section, this time for the swap interface.

Another critical section of your DApp, pay attention pls 👀

Here you will set the fees you want to receive from your client trading operations. As long this will be one of the most used features on your DApp, try to use low percentages here (up to 1%) if you don't want to scare your customers 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💨💨

Data section

Importing collections

Here you will place all the collections that you have available taking into account that you can choose several networks at the same time for each of them. For example, you can add the collection of our adorable Kittygotchi NFT kittens (on Ethereum, Polygon or Binance Chain) and in turn you will be able to add your NFT collections on other networks that we support with 0x decentralized liquidity.

Tokens

Choose the pairs you want to get in exchange for your NFTs. In the list you will find the most requested pairs by the people, taking into account their market volumes but, if you press the add button (inside the orange rectangle), you can add any custom token as well. Clicking on the right import button will enable popular token lists in your DApp. Feel free to choose them as well.

Clicking in the «IMPORT» button will open you this modal where you can look for any currency listed on CoinGecko 🦎

Networks

In this section you can choose the networks available in your DApp. This function is very useful when making products aimed at a specific network, such as the launch of an ERC20 token or a collection of NFTs.

Click on «Edit», choose the ones you are going to remove and then save.

Analytics

Events

Onchain events

Here you will be able to see all the onchain events that happened in your DApp. Measure correctly and without error margin all the transactions in your DApp

Offchain events

Track referrals and other events happening in your DApp.

Leaderboard

Looking to reward your users' loyalty? Now you will be able to do this by collecting a large amount of data within your DApp, from logins to trading exchanges, listings, among other actions. Assign points to each of them and create completely open and fair leaderboards.
